The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress [NDC] in Dormaa East in the Bono Region, Owusuwaa Racheal, has express her view on the ban of Pragya in the Bono Region by the Bono Regional Minister Hon. Ama Kumi Richardson.
According to her both pragya and ‘motor king’ plays a major role in the socio economic development of the people of Dormaa East and the entire Bono Region at large is one of the measures that has brought burden to the people in the Bono Region.
She said, due to this there is hardship on the part of the riders, owners of the tricycles, temporal unemployment in socio vices, impacted negatively on access to health care and has again slowed down farming activities past two weeks in her constituency.

Justice Kwaku Amoamo popularly known as Patapaa jabs the Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo’s government to compensate musicians for calling off thier shows amid corona virus.
The one corner hit maker and the chief in command of the Pa2Pa soldiers said this in an interview with the entertainment host of Ewiase FM 95.7, Patrick Partey which was monitored by Klassic News blog when asked if he booked shows before the ban on social gathering.
“I booked a lot of shows which could have given me alot of money if not the ban so Old Man [Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo- Addo] must pay me and my fellow who booked shows before the ban”, he said.

The communication officer said , ” unfortunately we too have and are continuing to experience criminals damages to Kay election posters especially Akyem Osiem. We have had some posters vandalised too

According to Bro Dr Asiamah, he didn’t react earlier because of the respect he has for Rev. Owusu Bempah but he has now crossed his limit to attacks the church of Christ.

The association of people with disability in Wenchi in the Bono Region of over sixty people is pleading to the general public to provide them with personal protection equipment to combat COVID-19.
In an interview with Adom-nana Piesie Yaw Preko of Ewiase FM, the Vice Chairman of the association who double as a Government appointee; Hon. Ofosu Ameyaw made it clear that they really need help as some of them walk with their palm which make them prone to Corona virus but have no option.
“We really need support from any individual, organizations and churches who wish to help us because we feel neglected in the Municipal” he said.

The deputy communication director of the biggest opposition party National Democratic Congress NDC in the Abuakwa north of the Eastern Region who has expressed confidence in the country’s preparedness for the coronavirus outbreak has called for lockdown in the Eastern Region
He said, since the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ordered a two week” cessation of all movement” in he key cities Kasoa, Kumasi, Greater Accra and Tema in a bid to ward off on explosion of cases in the country most of the people moved to the region, the region has so far recorded 2 confirm cases which we the NDC calling for lockdown

As part of measures to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 in the country, markets in Wenchi in the Bono Region has been closed down today 30th March, 2020 for a disinfection exercise.
The exercise will take place in the areas which includes Boadan, Ofuman road, Rompon to Nkyiraa, Akrobi, Old Station, Thursday market and other places with 30 spraying machines.
The disinfection exercise according to the Municipal Chief Executive of Wenchi, Hon. Dr Prince Kwakye Afriyie, will get rid of any looming infections in the Wenchi Municipality.
“No business is going to take place today. Security agancies are going to takeover the markets today, Monday March, 30, 2020 and any body who disobey this rules will face the wrath of the assembly” the MCE said.
For this reason, traders are supposed to lock up their shops today and are not supposed to venture the market on the day for the exercise until the end of the exercise.
Children are advised to stay away from the market areas during the period of fumigation.

An old Court building which could have serve another purpose in the Wenchi Municipality has been neglected and taking over by mad people as thier home.
Apart from the fact that it has been taking over by the mad people, it has also been refuse and toilet site for some residence in the area.
The place has been scartered by rejected items gathered by the mad people.
Meanwhile the Assembly sacked some people from the building who were keeping the place clean with the aim of using the building, for years now nothing has been done, leaving the place for mad people which is very dangerous for the near by houses as the mad people occationally threatens the lives of them.
