Prof, Tina Abrefa Gyan has assured the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of her renewed commitment by canvassing enough votes to retain Prof George Gyan Baffour in power.

Member of the Bono Regional Campaign and the Wenchi Constituency Campaign Team of the Npp resolved that with the challenges Covid-19 presented, her specific political strategy would be influenced by the current political climate where big gatherings and mass campaigning were not permitted.

She made this known during an interaction with Nana Kwabena Wiafe Akenteng( Nkwa Mr Bones) Dubbed: “Trainer of Trainees for Operation 1/1” which sought to among other objectives, retain the NPP and Prof. George Gyan Baffour into power and retain the parliamentary seat and Parliamentary .

The operation also focused on ways to operationalize her campaign strategy in preparation towards the December polls and further addressed the rudiments of canvassing for votes to re-elect the President and Prof. George Gyan Baffour for another term.

According to prof. Tina Abrefa Gyan, a party’s ability to drive an election victory in this year’s election would be essentially dependent on canvassing individual votes, including swing voters, and leveraging on other campaign tools rather than traditional rallies.

She said the operation equipped the party members to proficiently present campaign messages in a manner that effectively reflected the needs of the electorate while keeping the perspective of the voter in mind.

She said “unlike our other opponents who have in recent times resorted to insults and making unguarded ethnocentric comments, we’re focused on presenting a strong message of our development strides, policies and programmes to the electorates in order to retain NPP party in power to improve lives.”

As advocates of good governance, Prof Tina Abrefa Gyan explained that she would continue to push for a decorous and issues-based campaign devoid of intemperate language that characterized elections in the country.

Nana Akufo-Addo has appealed to members of the NPP to avoid the ‘skirt and blouse’ pattern of voting come December when Ghana goes to the polls.

The 2020 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo who’s the president of Ghana has urged residents of Wenchi constituency to vote massively for him and the party’s candidate, Professor George Gyan Baffour, the planning Minister in the upcoming general election.

With the NPP aiming at maintaining and securing a decisive majority in the popular vote, as well as securing the majority of parliamentary seats, Nana Akufo-Addo appealed to residents of wenchi not to entertain any thoughts of voting “skirt and blouse”, either in the presidential or parliamentary election.

Nana Addo was addressing residents of wenchi in the Bono Region, on Friday, September 11, 2020, at the working of his 3-day tour of the Bono Region.

He urged all party members to rally behind the party’s candidate, Professor George Gyan Baffour, recounting his own experience in 1998 when he fully supported then candidate John Agyekum Kufuor to enable the NPP win the 2000 elections.

“A true NPP member always accepts the decision of the party’s Electoral College. When it’s your turn, the party will reward you. That is why I am also here today as flagbearer of the NPP. So those trumpeting ‘skirt and blouse’ should stop, and rather, help Professor George Gyan Baffour and push him to parliament,” he said.

According to Alhaji Bodinga” Nigerian city , which can be described as the market leader in okada in West Africa Lagos, has recently banned Okada illegal, why should we throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians now of Legalizing it.

” Are we not in the country when the head of Accident, Emergency and Orthopedic Department at the Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Frederick Kwarteng called for the ban of Okada, Did we asked why he was calling for the ban? We shouldn’t be naive, let us face the fact. His call was premised on the fact that 58 motorcycle accident victims were recorded in the hospital from December 21, last year to January 1, this year.
