An Assistant Professor Norfolk State University, United States, and the Chief Executive Officer of Ewiase FM, Dr Tina Abrefa-Gyan has done exactly what she want the government to do in Wenchi. “Government must invest in education and welfare to reduce poverty”. Dr said this in an interview with one of the news agencies in the country and was published by the Ghana News Agency on Saturday 5th October, last year.
Dr Tina who is known for her loyalty and unflinching support to the good people of Wenchi and its environment files her nomination to contest NPP primaries, either to get the nod or not has provide the people of Asuofiri a suburb of Wenchi with electricity which has been the desire of the people over years.
Dr Tina doing her part of her advice to the government last year, has build an ICT center for Wenchi and the nearby towns on free tuition which is ready to kick off with trained computer literates.
